Hi District 1230 Scotland GSE team to District 9940 NZ and Baxter !!
Great to see you have a wee Scottish mascot who loves being photographed with the many new friends he will meet along the way on the trip to New Zealand and our Rotary District 9940!
We are very excited to be hosting your GSE team here in New Zealand in March of 2010.
We look forward to making this trip very memorable for your team and especially Baxter !!
Kind regards Mitchell Brown GSE Inbound Committee Chair District 9940 - New Zealand
you can actually get a 'passport' for a 'teddy' - try and 'google' it, I'll get in touch with some of the folk I took to OZ in 2001 when we also took a bear as a mascot along with passport which was stamped in each country and airport visited - tremendous icebreaker and it got us some special services... hehehe
Great to talk to Alex this morning our time, and very late your time !! The planning for getting your bio's and wish lists to us is going well. We hope to be able to match Clubs and Rotary Club members to as many of the events you are hoping to be a part of without burning you out !! We will use Baxter as a yard stuck, if his ears start to flop we will give him more shortbread !! Keep up the good work and get EXCITED like we are !!
